Building these first power rankings of the 2026 EOL season required looking beyond the standard points table. While the standings tell you who survived, the power rankings tell you who actually dominated the pavement.
Methodology: Speed Over Survival
To create an accurate reflection of driver strength, we used a weighted statistical model. Because the season opener at Daytona is often a high-chaos wildcard, we weighted those results at 35%. The remaining 65% of our calculation comes from Las Vegas, which provides a better representation of raw, technical speed on a traditional intermediate track.
We focused on four key "anchor" metrics:
Finishing Position: For obvious reasons.
Average Running Position (ARP): The single best indicator of car speed.
Laps Led: Reward for those who dominated the front of the field.
Incident Count: A measure of discipline and car control.
Driver Rating: The built-in indicator of overall efficiency.
EOL Power Rankings:

Combined Performance Breakdown
The Benchmarks: Brock Whitehead is the clear #1, having won both the "survival race" at Daytona and the "speed race" at Las Vegas.
The Speed Merchants: Chris Otto and Dalton McKenney have been the most aggressive drivers, combining to lead nearly 150 laps so far.
Discipline at the Front: Ryan White stands out in the 6th spot, proving that staying out of trouble pays off; he boasts the best weighted incident average in the top 10.
The Data Anomaly: Greg Wood is the most interesting driver in the 7th spot. His 2.6 ARP at Vegas is the single highest performance metric recorded so far this year.
These power rankings will release every Thursday Night following a race, so keep your eyes peeled for who rises and falls after next week!
